Return Policy:
We guarantee everything we sell. Return your purchase if you are not satisfied, within 7 days, with your sales receipt and we will refund the purchase price in the method in which you paid. Check purchase returns will be issued store credit only. Credit for items purchased at this location and returned without the register receipt will be issued for the item’s last sale price for store credit to be used at time of return only. Issue of store credit without a receipt will be at manger’s discretion.
For refunds on perishables (any item sold cold from freezer/refrigerator), returns must be made within 48 hours of purchase and with register receipt.
Preferred Shopper Card:
You can obtain an application in the store customer service office. We require a first and last name and telephone number to enroll. You must present your card at time of purchase before register transaction is finalized. This card will earn you “with card” sale prices. Customers will receive points based on total sale of order each time card is scanned. Points program discounts will be occasionally advertised; at this time, they are not ongoing.
Manufacturer Coupons:
DeCicco Marketplace accepts coupons authorized by manufacturers for their products sold in this store.
Coupons must be presented at time of purchase before payment is made and transaction is closed.
- Redemption of manufacturer coupons must meet all requirements listed on the coupon including the proper product and size.
- One (1) coupon per individual product purchased.
- Coupons must show a valid expiration date that has not expired. Coupons missing the expiration dates will not be accepted.
- Coupon must contain redemption instructions including an address.
- Coupons are non-transferable, and may not be copied, photocopied, scanned, altered, sold, traded, or otherwise distributed to others. Coupons that are copied, photocopied, scanned, altered, sold, traded, distributed or transferred by their original recipient to any other person, firm or group are void.
- Coupon value can never exceed the price of the item. The coupon will be limited in value to the price of the item.
- The customer must pay any applicable state or local sales tax plus state bottle deposit.
- Limit one coupon per item.
- We reserve the right to limit coupon redemptions to four (4) of the same coupon per household per day.
-DeCicco’s has the right to reject a coupon.
-There are many counterfeit internet coupons in circulation. In the interest of protecting you, the consumer, retailers, wholesalers, and manufacturers we will NOT accept internet coupons at this time. For more information, see Coupon Information Corp http://www.couponinformationcenter.com.
Check Payment Privileges:
In order to pay with a personal check, you must have DeCicco check cashing privileges on your Preferred Shopper Card issued from the location in which you’d like to pay by paper check. See store office for an application. Checks accepted for purchases only for the exact total of your order or less. No third party check cashing is permitted. Checks are to be made out to DeCicco Family Markets. We reserve the right to limit the amount paid by check. There is a returned check fee (based on current bank charges) due on all returned checks (whatever the reason) in addition to the amount of check returned. DeCicco’s reserve the right to deny a paper check as payment at any time regardless of customer’s check cashing privilege status.
Electronic Payment Purchases:
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay and most DEBIT cards for purchases only. You can receive $40 cash back over your purchase amount on DEBIT CARD purchases only. Limit one cash over transaction per customer per day. DeCicco has the right and responsibility to ask for additional identification from any card user and can deny the acceptance of the card as a form of payment if misuse is suspect, and/or card user cannot provide legal photo identification that matches that of the payment card.
Rolled Coin Change:
Due to bank charges, we do not give rolled change. We do not accept rolled change as payment or loose change over $5.
Tax Exempt Purchases:
If you are making a purchase for a NYS tax exempt organization, you must present your NYS Tax Exempt Form ST-119.1 and valid identification. We will retain a copy of the certificate.
Senior Citizen Discount Programs:
On Wednesdays, our senior customers are eligible to receive a discount off their purchases. Customers must be 62 years or older and have valid ID as proof of age.
To receive this discount:
1) Activate your DeCicco Preferred Shopper Card at the customer service desk for SENIOR STATUS. This requires a date of birth.
2) Once you are enrolled, upon checkout, present your card to the cashier BEFORE TRANSACTION is complete. Discount cannot be given after transaction at register is completed.
The senior citizen registered to card MUST BE PRESENT at store checkout at time of purchase. No exceptions will be made. We reserve the right to request identification. Discount excluded on purchases of alcohol, NYS Lottery, postage stamps, specially priced items, sales items, newspapers or case cost. During holiday weeks, senior discount day may be rescheduled - signs will be posted if such a change is made. We reserve the right to alter or terminate the discount program at any time. Management has the right to deny this discount privilege to any one at any time.
Veteran Discount Programs:
(only at participating locations) DeCicco’s is proud to offer a discount to US Veterans who shop in our stores. We would like this privilege to remain exclusive to those who served our country. US Veterans requesting our discount show their proof of service* at our customer service office. Please present this ID with your DeCicco Preferred Shopper card. The ID MUST MATCH THE INDIVIDUAL VETERAN’S NAME and PHOTO. For your convenience, once you prove your status, you do not have to present it each time you shop, once you are enrolled. Present your DeCicco’s Preferred Shopper Card at checkout before the order is complete to receive the DeCicco’s Veteran discount. It is our policy that the veteran be present during all Veteran Discount transactions.

US Uniformed Service (retired) ID Card
Leave & Earning Statement (LES) along with a photo id
VALID Veterans organization Card (i.e. American Legion, VFW)
DD214 along with a photo id
Rain Checks:
Should we be out of stock of an advertised item, we will issue a replacement item, order you the exact item for another day or issue you a paper rain check for that exact item; this will be left to the store manager’s discretion based on several factors. Rain check quantities limited to (3) three. Rain checks can only be redeemed in the location where they are issued. Rainchecks cannot be reissued if lost.
Bags:
NYS has banned the distribution of single use bags. Customers must provide their own CLEAN bags. We reserve the right to not allow use of customer-provided bags that are soiled or unsuitable for grocery use. DeCicco’s has the right to inspect all bags used to pack groceries purchased in this store. In some locations, fees apply to paper bags we provide. See policy sign at office for more detail.
